Step 1
A mirror is inserted on the inside of the windscreen to aid the inspection and repair of the damage.
Step 2
Our technician will inspect the damage in accordance to British Standard BS AU 242b:2022
Step 3
The injector bridge is set into position. This enables the injector to be positioned directly above the impact area.
Step 4
The injector is inserted into the bridge. Once in place resin is injected into the injector body.
Step 5
The injector barrel and plunger is inserted so that the resin can be injected into the damaged area. The resin is pressurised into the cracks and through the process a vacuum is created to draw out the air.
Step 6
Once our technician is happy with the repair a pit fill is used to create a smooth surface on the windscreen. Everything is then cured with the use of an UV lamp. Once cured the pit fill is levelled and polished.
